Tiaras are delicate items that need care if they are to look as special as they did the day you bought them. We have put together a few tips for keeping your tiara tip top.

DO Keep your tiara away from daylight when you are not using it.

DO Keep it somewhere safe where it can't get crushed.

DO Store your tiara in an airtight container if possible. The wire we use is coated in silver for extra sparkle and shine, but will tarnish over long periods of time. If your wedding is not for some time, an airtight container might be worthwhile.

DON'T Allow the tiara to get wet or damp as this will encourage tarnishing.

DON'T Use hairspray or perfume around the tiara - make sure you apply such products before putting the tiara on.

DON'T Be too rough with your tiara - the band is slightly malleable and will bend to allow for larger heads, but be careful not to pull it out of shape. Likewise the wire holding the crystals in place is delicate, and will weaken with too much bending.

Sometimes accidents happen, and if they do, send the tiara back to us and we'll repair the damage free of charge (you will need to pay for postage only).
